Energy Recovery Ventilator

For the perfect balance between energy efficiency and ventilation, Carrier recommends freshening your indoor weather with the Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV). Today's air-tight homes provide excellent energy efficiency. However, the better insulation restricts the air exchange, trapping humidity, stale air and various pollutants released by building materials. That's why Carrier offers the ERV. Carrier's ERV conditions the outdoor air entering your home so you can enjoy fresh air without sacrificing your system's energy efficiency. The ERV draws fresh air into your home as it expels stale, polluted air from your home. As the two air streams move through the recovery core, the heated or cooled air temperature is transferred from the stale outgoing air to the fresh incoming air without ever mixing the airstreams. That means maximum comfort and energy savings for you. In addition to improving the quality of your indoor air, the ERV enhances your overall comfort. The ERV removes humidity from fresh, incoming air before it is distributed throughout your home. It also removes indoor humidity, which can be caused by showers and cooking. Carrier's ERV will provide years of custom made indoor weather for you and your family. Efficiency and comfort is ensured by the high-efficiency core. The core transfers the indoor conditioned air temperature to the fresh, incoming air without mixing the airstreams. It also helps remove humidity from fresh, incoming air. Increased reliability through excellent communication between wall control and the ERV. Fresh, outdoor air is cleaned through a filter prior to entering your home. Stale, polluted air is expelled from your home through the exhaust air port which is connected to the return air distribution system. Energy-saving efficiency of the motor quietly and efficiently draws more air through the system for superior comfort and performance. Simple maintenance is ensured by the briefcase-style latches which allow for easy accessibility.

Comfort Heat Pump Systems

The Comfort Heat pump System delivers air that is significantly warmer than air delivered by standard heat pump systems. To maximize your comfort when the system first starts up, the Comfort Heat Pump System delays the indoor blower until the system can deliver warm air. This eliminates annoying blasts of cool air during the winter months. The Comfort Heat Pump System also adjusts indoor airflow to maximize your comfort, resulting in heating air temperatures that are nearly 20° warmer than standard heat pumps. And, to ensure that your aren't’t disturbed by uncomfortable drafts, the Comfort Heat Pump System delivers this warmer air at a lower less drafty speed. The result is a noticeably warmer, more comfortable home.

Central Air Conditioning

Carrier’s Central Air Condition Systems deliver outstanding cooling comfort with a clear conscience now and well into the future. Back in 1902, when Willis Carrier invented air conditioning, controlling your indoor weather meant simply maintaining a comfortable temperature inside. Now, it’s complicated. Energy efficiency, reliability, environmental impact, quietness of operation and future service costs are important considerations. As homeowner needs and government regulations have changed, Carrier has been at the forefront of the industry. By continuously providing innovative products that meet or exceed consumer expectations and by operating within the growing list of regulatory requirements, Carrier has become the world’s most trusted source for superior indoor weather.
